Welcome
Welcome to the League of Humane Voters Action Site. We are the California chapter of the national political action committee organized to elect animal friendly decision makers to city, county and state office in California.
On the above navigation bar you will find tabs to access a page on up-and-coming elections with our endorsements and candidate information: ELECTIONS; a page that tells you what you can do to help elect our endorsed candidates: TAKE ACTION; a page that gives you some history on past and present legislators we have endorsed: LEGISLATORS; a page which allows you to determine your city, county and state legislative districts: FIND YOUR DISTRICT; and a VOTING RECORD page in which we give a rundown of some past pieces of legislation and how legislators of various districts in California voted.
The accuracy of the following information is the responsibility of the League of Humane Voters, California Chapter, and is limited by our staff time and our resources. We do not solicit donations and run on a very lean budget, but we believe in the importance of providing this information for voters who wish to maximize the public policy protections for all non-human animals.
